Use this page when Setup Stash does not behave the way you expect.
Browse local setups finds nothing
Check these first:
- Sync Agent is connected
- Your LMU setups folder is configured in the agent
- You are signed in with the same MyLMU account in browser and agent
- The files are valid
.svmfiles inside the expected LMU setup folder tree
If the browser starts the flow but no inventory appears, reconnect the agent and try the scan again.
A setup imported under the wrong layout
Setup Stash infers a Settings-relative location from the source path or upload metadata.
If the wrong layout was inferred:
- open the setup details
- correct the layout/path before using Send to my LMU folder
- verify the target car/track context in LMU after sending
I expected a new setup, but got a new version
This usually means MyLMU recognized the file as the same setup identity with updated contents.
Common reason:
- same Settings-relative path
- changed file contents
That combination extends version history instead of creating a separate top-level setup entry.
I expected a new version, but nothing changed
If the imported or uploaded file has the same effective identity and content hash as an existing version, MyLMU may treat it as a duplicate rather than meaningful new history.
“Send to my LMU folder” stays pending or fails
Check:
- Sync Agent is online
- the setups folder is configured
- the selected version points at the correct relative path
- the agent can write to that folder
If needed:
- reconnect Sync Agent
- retry the delivery
- confirm the layout/path is correct in Stash
A team push or pull option is missing
Check both plan and permission requirements:
- your account needs Pro for Setup Stash
- the team owner needs Pro for Team Setups
- your membership role must allow the action you expect
The setup opens, but some values cannot be edited
Not every .svm entry is supported by click-edit controls.
Some settings are view-only, unavailable for that car, or not represented as a supported adjustable field in MyLMU yet.
