Default privacy
Teams on MyLMU are private clubs. Other drivers cannot browse your Talk channels, setups, telemetry library, trophy room, calendar details, or join code unless you share those separately.
Showcase is opt-in. Nothing appears in Discover until an owner or admin enables List on Showcase. Browse and apply require a MyLMU account; share links show a public preview card only.

Lap times are not published on Showcase — only how many lap records the team holds.
Recruiting flow
- Owner/admin enables List on Showcase and Open to recruits
- A signed-in driver opens the Showcase page and sends a request (optional message)
- Owners/admins with team event in-app (and email) preferences on are notified
- Owner/admin approves or rejects on the team Overview members list
- Accepted drivers become normal members with the usual permissions
Showcase applications never auto-join. There is no public join code on Showcase pages.
Applicants can withdraw a pending request from Discover → Your applications or the team’s Showcase page. Withdrawing removes the request and clears unread join-request notifications for the team.
Email alerts
New applications email the team owner and accepted admins who still have join request emails enabled in notification settings (separate from team event emails). In-app join-request alerts use the matching join request in-app preference.
Display team on profiles
If a driver sets your team as their display team on their public driver profile and your team is listed on Showcase, visitors can open your Showcase share page from that chip (then sign in if needed).
