Credits & Access

Resolve Coach Credit balance issues, access problems, and widget visibility.

Out of Coach Credits

Symptom: Message box disabled or error that balance is too low.

Minimum: 5 CC required per message.

Fix:

1. Check balance in the Coach header
2. Buy a Coach Credit pack or upgrade to Pro (1,000 CC/month)
3. Start a New chat if a long thread is consuming extra context

Telemetry coaching unavailable

Symptom: Coach answers in General or Session mode when you expected telemetry analysis.

Check:

1. A .duckdb file is open in the Telemetry viewer
2. You have at least 5 CC in your balance (buy a pack if needed)
3. Coach AI Widget is enabled in Settings
4. Start a New chat after opening the file so context attaches correctly

Coach does not require Pro for telemetry mode. Free users can use telemetry coaching with purchased Coach Credits. Pro adds a monthly CC allowance and higher telemetry upload limits — not access to the viewer or Coach itself.

Widget not showing

Symptom: No floating Coach button on dashboard pages.

Fix:

1. Go to Settings
2. Enable Coach AI Widget
3. Refresh the page if needed

Keyboard shortcut not working

Symptom: ⌘J / Ctrl+J does nothing.

Check:

• Widget is enabled in Settings
• You are on a dashboard page (not public marketing pages)
• No browser extension is capturing the shortcut

Credits not updating after purchase

Symptom: Balance unchanged after buying a pack.

Fix:

1. Wait a few seconds and refresh
2. Check your email for Stripe receipt
3. Contact support with your purchase time if balance still wrong

Allowance vs pack balance

Pro monthly allowance is used first. Purchased pack credits apply when allowance is exhausted.

Allowance refreshes on a rolling monthly schedule and does not roll over.
