Race Stats & Director

Race and qualifying stats, incidents, and the MyLMU Race Director event timeline.

Last updated August 10, 2026

Summarize this page with AI

After Overview and Standings, use Race Stats (or Qualifying Stats / Practice Stats) and Race Director (or Qualifying Director / Practice Director) for deeper session analysis. These tabs require a loaded full report.

Practice Charts (alongside Race / Qualifying Charts) focuses on best-lap gap, ideal vs best, and field lap times — not race position climb or gap-to-leader. It is hidden for solo Practice sessions with only your driver.

Race Stats / Qualifying Stats

This tab shows class award highlights (per car class in multiclass) plus class-level incident analysis on races. Awards only appear when the class has usable data for that metric.

Race awards

SectionAwards
PaceFastest lap, most consistent, top speed, fastest S1–S3
RacingMost positions gained / lost, best recovery, most overtakes, most laps led, most track-limit violations (from Stream / Race Director)
StrategyMost pit stops, most driver swaps (swap sessions), most used car; fuel saver / tyre saver when mastery data exists

Incident rivalry / chaos awards stay under the separate Incidents block — they are not duplicated here.

Qualifying / Practice awards

SectionAwards
PaceFastest S1–S3, theoretical best, most consistent, biggest improvement, top speed (when lap top speed exists)
FieldMost used car, most track-limit violations

Class incident analytics (races)

For multiplayer races, additional sections may appear:

  • Incident counts — driver-to-driver contacts in your class (solo offs are under Clumsiness)
  • Rivalries — drivers you contacted most
  • Clumsiness meter — solo offs / object hits
  • Severity breakdown — light vs heavy impacts
  • Chaos over time — incident force across the session

These help you understand race rhythm and whether the lobby was clean or chaotic — separate from pace and racing awards.

Missing data

If tyre wear, fuel, and virtual energy are absent from the file, fuel/tyre saver awards stay hidden. See Driver Swaps & Data Gaps.

Race Director / Qualifying Director

The Director tab is a timeline of session events plotted over laps or time. It appears when the result file contains event data — not every session has enough events to show this tab.

Event types

Events may include:

CategoryExamples
IncidentsContact, off-track
Track limitsTrack limit violations
SectorsSector timing markers
DamagesDamage events
Driver changesDriver swap pit stops
PenaltiesTime or drive-through penalties
Pit stopsPit in/out, compound changes

Using the timeline

  • Scroll the timeline to follow the session chronologically
  • Use filters to show or hide event categories
  • Correlate spikes on Charts (position, lap time) with incidents here
  • Driver swap sessions show driver changes and pits at the car level

Qualifying Director

Qualifying sessions use the same timeline concept with a Qualifying Director label. Fewer pit and strategy events; more focus on laps and track-limit incidents.

Practice sessions

Practice shows Practice Stats with the same Pace / Field awards as qualifying. Race climb / pit / overtake awards and class incident analytics stay race-only.

Practice Director still appears when the session file has events (incidents, track limits, and so on). Use Practice Charts for field best-lap gap, ideal vs best, and lap-time distribution — not race position or gap-to-leader charts.
