Control who can see your sessions and manage per-session metadata from the session header and Session Actions menu — not from a separate tab.
Visibility
| Setting | Who can view |
|---|---|
| Private (default) | Only you |
| Public | Anyone with the link |
Toggle Public / Private from the session header (desktop) or the gear menu (mobile). Public sessions can be shared with Copy Link.
Your own dashboard, analytics, and milestones always include your sessions regardless of visibility.
What public means
- Anyone with the URL can open a read-only view of the session
- Your driver name and session stats appear as configured
- Community features may surface public session data where applicable
Switch back to Private anytime if you no longer want the link to work for new viewers.
Team-shared sessions
If you share a session to a team, teammates with access can open it from the team Sessions library — even when the session is Private on your personal account.
Team sharing is separate from Public visibility:
| Personal visibility | Team library | |
|---|---|---|
| Private | Only you (unless team-shared) | Teammates on that team |
| Public | Anyone with link | Teammates on that team |
See Sharing sessions and Shared sessions.
Favorites
Tap the star in the header to favorite a session. On Dashboard → Sessions, enable the Favorite filter to show only starred sessions.
Notes tab
The Notes tab (session owner only) stores personal notes attached to this session. Notes are private — only your account can see them.
Use notes for setup reminders, strategy notes, or league context.
Chat tab
When multiplayer chat was saved in the result file, the Chat tab shows the in-session chat log. Not all sessions include chat data.
Session actions
Open the gear menu (mobile) or use header buttons (desktop):
| Action | Description |
|---|---|
| Delete Session | Permanently remove from your history — cannot be undone |
| Public / Private | Toggle visibility |
| Copy Link | Copy share URL (public sessions) |
Deleting a session does not delete linked telemetry files — only the result import. See Managing sessions.
Link telemetry
From the header:
- Link telemetry file(s) opens the link modal
- Choose a suggested match (same track and day) or pick another file
- Upload new file to add a
.duckdbdirectly
MyLMU suggests matches by track, car, session time, and driver name. See Linking telemetry.
Attach setup
Attach setup links a car setup file from your library to this session.
- On desktop, use the paperclip icon at the right end of the session tab bar
- On mobile, open Session Actions (gear icon)
- Requires an active Pro subscription — Free users see an upgrade prompt
- Setups open from the session for quick reference after the race
Mobile layout
On smaller screens, header actions move into Session Actions (gear icon): delete, visibility, copy link, and related controls stay in one place.
Coach context
The Coach widget automatically uses the open session for session coaching. No extra setup required.
