System Tray

Keep the MyLMU Sync Agent in the system tray so it watches folders in the background.

Summarize this page with AI

The Sync Agent is designed to run in the background while you race.

System tray — minimize to tray and right-click menu
System tray — minimize to tray and right-click menu

Minimize to tray

  1. Click Minimize to Tray (-) in the top left corner of the app window
  2. The window hides — the app keeps running
  3. A tray icon appears in your system tray (Windows) or notification area (Linux)

Tray icon

The tray icon shows the app is active. Right-click for options:

  • Open — restore the app window
  • Check for Updates — look for a newer release on GitHub
  • Quit — stop the app and folder monitoring

While minimized, the agent continues watching your Results and Telemetry folders for new files.

When to keep it running

Leave the app in the tray whenever you plan to race. New session XML and telemetry files upload automatically without opening the window.

If you quit the app, folder monitoring stops until you relaunch.

Auto-start

Enable Start with Windows/Linux in settings so the app launches on boot and begins monitoring without manual action. See Auto-start & Updates.
