Compose remixes lap metrics already computed on Strategy / Thermal / Driver / Chassis. It is not a second Strategy tab — pressure setup, damper histograms, Vmax distance preview, and G-G live on their dedicated tabs. Use Open Strategy / Open Thermal / Open Driver / Open Chassis on a card (from the primary metric’s group) to jump there.

Starter packs
An empty Compose view offers quick starters:
| Pack | What it plots |
|---|---|
| Fuel + wear | Fuel level, plus all-corner tyre wear on a second card |
| Temps + pace | All-corner carcass temps, plus lap time |
| Driver inputs session | Trail braking with coasting distance, plus throttle ramp on a second card |
Or start with a blank card and pick metrics yourself.
Build a chart
- Choose a metric from the searchable picker (grouped: Strategy, Thermal, Driver, Chassis, Conditions)
- Use Add overlay… to put a second or third metric on the same chart (same-unit share one Y-axis; different units get dual Y)
- Add chart for another card (up to four)
Corner packs
Some Strategy / Thermal entries plot all four corners on one chart (Tyre Wear, Disc Temp, Carcass Temp). Selecting a pack fills that card — overlays are disabled for that card. Individual corner metrics (e.g. Tyre Wear FL) remain available if you want to mix with lap time or fuel under the normal three-overlay / dual-Y rules.
Missing channels in the file simply leave that series empty with a short note.
Track map
When a Compose card includes a metric with a track-distance story (fuel, tyre wear, disc/carcass temp, track temp, aero rake, trail braking / coasting / throttle), the track map colours the racing line for that mode. Mode chips under the map only list modes implied by your cards; the first match in card order is the default. Hover a lap on a Compose chart to rebuild that heat for Showing Lap N.
Layouts with only lap time (or other unmapped metrics) leave the delta strip when comparing laps. Hover still emphasizes the racing line and shows Showing Lap N.
Setup-style Thermal metrics (pressure, tread balance, recovery), damper, and Vmax stay on Thermal / Chassis — Compose does not duplicate those cards.
Scope and Overlay
Compose respects the same lap scope as Strategy / Thermal (All / Stint / Manual on Laps). When Overlay is set on a stint or manual range, dashed series compare by stint lap age — same as other analysis charts (including corner packs).
Named layouts
Use Layout → Save / Save as / Delete to keep Compose stacks in this browser (same idea as Inspector Custom layouts).
