Replay Control Bar

Playback controls at the bottom of Track Map — play, pause, speed, previous/next lap, and timeline scrubbing.

Last updated July 14, 2026

Summarize this page with AI

The replay control bar is the bottom-most control on Track Map — play, speed, lap stepping, and the timeline scrubber. It sits below the driver strip, which handles lap picking and reference ghosts.

It drives synchronized replay for the current lap. It does not include the full lap list or reference ghost controls — use the driver strip (or traces header when the panel is open) for those.

There is no reset button on the bar. Press R to jump to the start of the current lap.

Timeline

The scrubber spans the current lap only:

  • Drag to seek — map, driver strip, traces, overlays, and segment tools update together
  • Progress fill shows how far through the lap you are
  • Lap boundaries come from the lap you picked in the driver strip

For jumping to a different lap, use the driver strip lap picker or Previous lap / Next lap — not the timeline alone.

Traces toggle

Click Traces on the far right to show or hide the traces panel.

Synchronized elements

When replay runs or you scrub, these update together:

  • 2D/3D map position and sector labels
  • Traces panel cursor and driver cards
  • Driver strip live readouts (when driver strip is visible)
  • Comparison markers on 2D
  • Open overlay popups (tyres, brakes, etc.)
  • Segment seeker segment number and delta

Delta vs reference

The replay bar does not show time delta. With a reference loaded, watch:

  • Driver strip center pillar — live +/- seconds vs reference
  • Delta trace in the traces panel

Suggested workflow

  1. Pick your lap in the driver strip
  2. Set speed to 1x from the replay bar
  3. Play through the lap; pause (Space) before a corner
  4. Scrub the timeline for frame-by-frame review
  5. Open Traces when you need channel charts alongside the map
